Honest wellness — real evidence, not marketing
Phuket has no shortage of wellness clinics and resorts. Very few of them tell you honestly what is proven, what is overstated, and what we simply do not yet know. These guides do what most will not: they tell you both sides.
Each guide in this section covers one modality — what it is, what the research actually says (not what clinics claim on their websites), approximate prices in Phuket where we have verified data, and what we do not yet know. That last gap is named plainly rather than filled with unfounded confidence.
Every claim cites its source. No sponsors. No commission from any clinic or resort. No fabricated outcomes. No guessed prices. Where we lack information, we say so plainly.
How we assess evidence
We distinguish three levels: Proven — supported by peer-reviewed research · Promising — some evidence exists but it is incomplete · Provider-claimed — providers say it but science has not confirmed. We are not physicians and do not give medical advice. We do accurately represent the state of the evidence.

Oxygen Technology
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

Regenerative Therapy
Peptides & BPC-157

Detox Programs
Colon Hydrotherapy (Colonics)
Harvard, Cleveland Clinic and Time all agree: no scientific evidence supports it — and the risks are real.

Important note
These guides provide general information about the scientific evidence — not medical advice for any individual. Any treatment or procedure, particularly those involving health, should be discussed with a physician first. This applies especially to peptides, HBOT, and extended fasting.
These guides offer general, honest information — not medical, legal, or financial advice. They do not diagnose, treat, or account for anything particular to you. What we present is a plainly stated view, dated when made, and corrected when the evidence changes.
